The International Association of Catholic Bioethics (IACB) is a multidisciplinary bioethics community with members from many countries. We are supported by the Order of Malta. Our main work is a colloquium held every two years during which we discuss and develop a statement on some emerging or disputed topic in bioethics. Our statements draw from empirical research, ethical reasoning, and theological reflections. We focus especially on health care of vulnerable persons in society. We welcome participants from any discipline related to bioethics and from any faith tradition.
